This week in Preschool.....
We learned about squares!
| We made squares with our bodies.... |
| Played games with square pieces... |
| And glued together squares to make mosaics of our letter of the week... |
The Letter
B!!
We made our own Bean Bags to toss, Built with Blocks, and had a Box full of things that start with B.
We learned that B is for...
Books! (This week we read The Mixed-Up Chameleon, Actual Size, Bread Bread Bread, and Quick as a Cricket) |
| Bread! |
| (We rolled & stretched the dough) |
| (Cut it into rather artistic strips) |
| (Painted the strips with butter, and sprinkled on some cheesy seasonings) |
| (And enjoyed our homemade Breadsticks with our Buddies at lunch) |
B is also for Bodies!
We used our bodies to draw: Butcher paper bodies, complete with various body parts. We use dour bodies to count: Our number of the week was 2--We discovered that we have 2 of so many of our body parts! We used our bodies to dance: There was a good deal of giggling during Head, Shoulders, Knees, & Toes and The Hokey Pokey. We used our bodies to experiment: We splinted our elbows straight and tried to put on a hat or scratch our noses--more giggling--and talked about how important our 'bendy parts' are. We used our bodies to move: The kids are all enthusiastic runners, hoppers, rollers, crawlers, & backwards-walkers! And we made silly bodies with Mr. Potato Head AND with our snacks!: |
See you next week!!

Wow! I loved looking at all of the pictures and reading your commentary. Thanks, Juli!
