This week at preschool we worked on words starting with the letter C. We sounded out each letter and blended them into a word. We then cut and colored out pictures to match our words and made them into our C book. We played "Erase It," as we looked for our words on the white board.
Using balloons, we experimented with respiration and learned about our lungs. We also read The Magic School Bus Inside the Human Body and Parts. We took a look at the different organs inside our bodies through pictures on the internet and then we worked on putting our insides on the outside. We also did a little yoga to get those wiggles out and bend our bodies into triangles.
We explored triangles and the number three using mirrors and a straight line to create different shapes. We enjoyed reading about a Greedy Triangle and his adventures with the Shape Shifter and finished off triangles by sorting shapes using pattern blocks.
