February 26th and 28th

On Tuesday we learned about the letter W.  We poked holes in our apples to make wiggly worms with our fingers.

We made worm trails out of cooked spaghetti.

We played a bingo game with numbers, using buttons and dice.

We also did some writing exercises, played dress up and celebrated Tristan's birthday!

On Thursday, we worked on triangles and learned more about volcanoes!

Talia insisted on getting a picture of the house she created:

We made triangle volcanoes out of mini paper triangles.

Auntie Jodi came at the end of class to help with the big volcano projects!  The kids started by covering their water bottles with green and brown play dough.

They then added dirt and twigs to their volcanoes.

Autie Jodi helped everyone add magna (water and vinegar with red/orange food coloring), and the magic baking soda.

The kids added more and more baking soda and kept the eruptions coming!

A fun fun activity and I'm so glad that Jodi and I were both there to supervise.  It got wild! :)
